Hello, everybody!
As you may have noticed, the site has undergone pretty heavy modifications. You'll notice that since ProBoards v5 was released a lot of things, including the way UBBC codes work, have changed. It'll take some getting used to, but it's all supposed to be much more convenient for the user.
We're going ahead and getting the site up and running, so if you have any comments, questions, or suggestions, please feel free to post in the Suggestions Board, PM a moderator or administrator, or just post in the CBox on the side.
Speaking of the CBox, if you could please register your name in the chat so that no one can steal it and impersonate you, we would greatly appreciate it! It's not necessary, but it could be very helpful.
Here are some helpful things for you to know with this new update:
- The plot has skipped ahead two years. Please update your mortals and mechs accordingly, and consider adding onto your history section and noting any personality changes.
- All of the character forms have been updated. They're a lot more sleek and organized. If you could transfer your character's bio over to the new sheets it would be greatly appreciated!
- All mortals need a birthdate. We're using the calendar on ProBoards to help us keep track of plot progression and character ages. If you need any help with this, just keep in mind that the barrier went up in 2201 and Cira Avicci is now 20 years old - the current year is 2221/2222.
- If you go into Profile > Edit Profile > Settings > Default UBBC Code, it acts just like posting templates did on the old site! It will automatically input into your posts whatever you want it to. Here's an example.
- Pure Evil is not compatible with the Safari browser, unfortunately. If you're using that browser we highly recommend a different one; the list of compatible popular browsers is located at the bottom of the site underneath the affiliates table.
- There are more categories / boards to better organize threads; however, not all of them are finished (as of June 4). If you have any boards you'd like to see, feel free to suggest them.
Thanks! We're looking forward to roleplaying with you!
