The Pits

New Jersey District

Zone 1 - Agriculture

A long stretch of farms and greenhouses on the far Western side of Chorazin's New Jersey district, much of it was cut off when the barrier was erected. However, there are still about 20 square miles of land available for food production.


Residential Zones

Residential Zones 1-9 contain several communities and even more criminal empires. Several of the larger gangs and smaller security firms are located here.


Zone 10 - Waterfront

New Jersey District's Waterfront Zone covers the entire coastline of New Jersey; it was frequented by cargo ships and fishers but has fallen into the hands of criminal empires in the surrounding area. Legitimate business has come to a screeching halt, though illegal trading and smuggling are a daily occurrence.


New York District

Zone 1 - Agriculture

The farms, stretching along the edge of the city for hundreds of miles, consist mostly of massive greenhouses, supplying the city's food. The erection of the barrier managed to cut off some of the Agriculture Zone.


Residential Zones

The city's massive residential sectors, containing Neo-Chinatown, Little Tokyo, Britannia, New Mecca, El Barrio, and Old New York.


Zone 8 - Political Center

The central zone of Chorazin; it contains all of the upper level government, military, and private security force offices. All decisions regarding the way the city is run are made here. It is also the location of the Hellmouth.


Business / Industrial Center

Contains the production and distribution centers of Chorazin. Despite being the business side of the city, it is also the site of most of the city's criminal acts.


Zone 15 - The Waterfront

The docks and waterfront of Chorazin were once the bustling center of international trade and the city's importing and exporting businesses. It is now a shell of its former self, since all communication and access to the world outside of Chorazin have been cut off.


Connecticut District

Zone 1 - Agriculture

Located in the former State of Connecticut, Zone 1 contains the rest of Chorazin's food production facilities. There are about 50 miles of land within the barrier that are used for farming.


Residential Zones

Zones 2-4 are located in the center-most part of what was formerly known as the State of Connecticut; these residential zones consist of the more "gentrified communities". They are home to most of the upper class citizens of Chorazin.


Zone 5 - Waterfront

Zone 5 covers the entire coastline of the Connecticut District; it's used by many of the wealthier residents of Chorazin for recreational boating and fishing.
